Schooley's Mountain County Park

91 East Springtown Rd,

Washington Township, NJ, US, 07853

Join us (Laurie & Tim) for a fun walk in changing terrain from big, wide paths to rocky climbs (not scrambles). Considered a moderate hike, depending on the trails we take, there will be 500 to maybe 900 feet of total elevation gain. Of course (!!) we’ll be hiking down to and along the scenic Electric River! And if you haven’t seen the outdoor chapel, you will today. Might also get some good glutes workout down the Beeline and back up The Highlands / Patriot Path trail. After the hike, this park is less than 5 minutes from OMG Burger.

**LOCATION:** Meet at the trailhead located at the uppermost parking lot to the left of the bathrooms (when facing them).

**Max # participants for this event:** No limit
**Distance:** about 5 miles
**Duration:** 3.5 hours approx
**Pace:** moderate with stops to drink water and likely take pictures at the falls.
**Newcomers are always welcome**
**No one left behind,** this is a social group enjoying nature
**Dogs:** Dogs may not enjoy several rocky climbs, but are welcome on a leash if experienced. ***Please bring water for your pup.***
